Frozen frenzy

After Becky's post about ice cream on Friday, I've been craving it hardcore. When I hopped over to Jeni's website to see what was new I noticed their newer collection - the Super Pop Cakes! collection.

Oh yeah. It's "five brand-new cake-saturated flavors inspired by the cuisine, climates, and soundtracks of five colorful spots from around the world" (according to the Jeni's website). You have your pick from Icelandic Happy Marriage Cake, Tres Leches with Here-n-There Cherries, Hummingbird Cake, Mango Kiwi Special Cake and Magnolia Mochi.

Check out the website for descriptions of each - I don't know how I'm going to pick just one.

Sticky finds

Somehow again this summer I was invited to SO MANY weddings. I've been perusing the registries and have found some things I feel like a I can't live without. My most recent have-to-have item are these dry-erase wall stickers. They are super cute and like $10 for a pack at Target.

Wild about wedges

I always want to be that girl who effortlessly wears heels all the time. I'm not. And I'm still coming to terms with that, but this past weekend I broke out some heels and for the first time I did not regret it. For all the other girls like me out there - if you want to rock those heels, try some wedge heels on for size. Here are a few of my favorites, all the style and none of the pain!

Striped linen wedge from Charlotte Russe | $35.50

INC Belvin slingback wedges from Macy's | $70

Suede T-strap wedge from Charlotte Russe | $30

TGIF — Break out the toga

Thankfully, it is Friday and after a long week in the office I'm ready to sit back and relax. I just discovered the new Greek-style ice cream from Ben and Jerry's. It is quite possibly the only thing that will get me through work today. I love B&J and can't wait to try the new flavors that have less calories and and sugar. I love it when ice cream is almost good for you.

Weekly tune-up

I don't know that there can be a better musical upgrade than trading out Justin Bieber for Marina and the Diamonds (you're welcome). Anyone whose nickname is "the Biebs" doesn't belong on my radio, I'm sorry. I will admit that I found his previous songs annoyingly catchy, but this newest one made me want to rip the stereo from my car. A friend of ours pointed me to this wonderful cover of Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend," so now I want you all to promise me that if you ever have an urge to listen to this song you'll listen to this version instead. We have to stick together.

Marina and the Diamonds = INFINITELY better than Justin Bieber. Pass it on.

Heaven in a jar

I have had a rough week so far. I know it's only Wednesday afternoon but that's the glory of working with men who can't communicate. Thankfully, I have the some comfort in the cupboard — Cookie Butter. It's like fresh-baked cookies and Nutella had a love child and it tastes like creamy gingerbread.
This is literally one of the things you have to try to understand and you can find it at Trader Joe's. I just eat it with a spoon.

Springtime shoes

I have to stop looking at the Target weekly ads. And getting their weekly specials sent to my email. Because this is what happens . . . I make Kate and Becky drive me to a Target during a severe thunderstorm, risking all of our lives to find shoes I saw in the ad (I know, I have great friends). These shoes to be exact . . .

I bought the floral print ones in the bottom left corner, aren't they perfect for warmer weather? Plus, all of these are only $10 this week which is a great deal - maybe a good enough deal to risk your life for during a thunderstorm. I can't wait to wear them out once the rain stops and the sun comes back!
