Despite the cold temperatures, snow and freezing winds that have finally announced wintertime in Ohio, we still love our state. We also love finding creative ways to show our love for the Buckeye State and this is the latest one I've come across (thanks to my sister Caitlin).
This darling print is available in Rooted In Paper's Etsy shop, and the state and stitching colors are customizable to your liking. Plus if you have a friend moving to another state, you can either remind them of their love for their home state or see if Rooted In Paper has the state they're going to call home.
For $10 (plus $3 for shipping), this would be a great piece to add to your decor.

Hometown Pride
Last month I was browsing stands at the Highland Square's Art in the Square festival with my mom when we stumbled upon this great screenprint . . .
I can't wait to add this print to our apartment decor. It's made by April Bleakney (aka APE MADE) and along with a lot of really great screenprints on canvas, her Etsy shop also has her designs on T-shirts, tote bags and coasters. Here are a few of my other favorites from her, but be sure to check out her Etsy shop for more fun Ohio stuff!

We're pretty big fans of adventures, so when we found out about this corn maze down in Wooster that's in the shape of the state of Ohio we were pretty excited. To say the least. I mean check it out . . .
Awesome, right? It's at Ramseyer Farms and they also have a bunch of other fun fall activities like hayrides, a straw bale obstacle course, a pumpkin patch and also this other ridiculously cool maze . . .
They call it their "Mystery Maize" so I can't wait to see what that's all about. Oh, did I mention we're going tomorrow? If you want to follow along with our adventures (and knowing us there will definitely be a few), follow us on Twitter - @OHis4lovers. We'll be tweeting updates and pictures along the way!

Fall in love . . .
I love fall. I couldn't be more excited for the boots, the sweaters and the scarves - especially after I found these scarves.
I fell in love with cowl scarves after I spotted one on designlovefest's website so I was super excited to find them on Etsy when I was browsing through local shops (bonus points because it's from Akron!). EStarKnits has a ton of cute scarves if the cowl isn't your thing, and every scarf comes with a whole bunch of color options too! I'm definitely looking forward to adding one of these to my cooler weather wardrobe.

If you haven't noticed, we love Ohio. So when I stumbled upon these lovely state and city pieces, I knew I had to put them on our blog. Catstudio specializes in locale-themed items, from hand-embroidered pillows and aprons to glasses and bags. They're all gorgeous, but I'm especially in love with the hand-embroidered pieces like the pillows, dish towels and aprons.
The pillows are a little on the pricey side (one pillow is $149), but they are hand-embroidered and I'm definitely in love with all the colors and the design.
The dish towels are equally amazing and a little more budget-friendly at $20 a piece, although you do have to buy two as an order minimum. For both the pillows and the dish towels, you have your choice from cities, states, countries, regions and resorts and national parks.
These would make a great housewarming gift for someone (especially if they're moving to a different state) or it would be a good Christmas gift for any of your friends that like to travel. Spread that state love!

If Ohio isn't a state you'd like to don, they also have a selection of the other 49 states. -Becky

A Final Taste of Summer
As the weather gets colder here in the big OH, I'm in a desperate search for those final pieces of summer. I discovered this taste of the of summer the other day.
Brambleberry Crisp ice cream from Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream, mixes organic vanilla ice cream with real fruit. The best part is it's made in Ohio! -Becky
